The kinetic Sunyaev Zel'dovich (kSZ) effect, cosmic microwave background (CMB) temperature anisotropies induced by the scattering of CMB photons from free electrons, will be measured near-term experiments at high significance. By combining with a tracer structure, such as galaxy redshift survey, previous literature introduced number techniques to reconstruct radial velocity field. This reconstructed field encapsulates majority cosmological information contained in kSZ anisotropies, and can provide powerful new tests standard model theories beyond it. In this paper, we introduce estimator for based on coarse-grained maximum likelihood fit component given optical depth.
